Pproxy help: "Packet from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Failed Validation"

I setup a pproxy at the office to connect to a TA Member Pproxy. It only seems to intermitantly grab RC5 packets. The rest of the time it give the message:

Packet from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Failed Validation

All traffic diverted from Massachusetts to Texas through a VPN and exits out a HTTP proxy. I know we have very high ping times. Damn Verizon strike, a router failure with our providor, and AT&T sitting on their asses means we are working of a 512k Fractional T1 rather than 2 full T1s for over 100 people running lots of apps out our LAN. The puny Pentium 75 w/ 32MB system I have doesn't help things either.

Any settings I can tweak to help things along? It took as many as 30 attempts to grab a few measly packets that can barly feed two system. 🙁

Looks like the problem is your machine timing out when it requests packets...

I suppose I could send you some fresh packets by e-mail to get you through... Let me know if you want to go that route.

Alright, the afternoon data traffic has slowed and I managed to buffer about 5000 blocks. Should be enough for overnight since i only have about 3 system in the office as a test. I hope those damn technicians get us back on full T1s again.

Thanks to everyone for their help.
