pppoe on wlan in ubuntu 11.04

somehow i cannot wrk out pppoe on wlan in ubuntu .. it didnt wrk in 10.10 also..

i use a bridged connction frm my adsl provider which reqrs usrname and pswrd i need to login to net..

my machine is conncting to the wifi n/w but it dosnt show dsl connction in nm-applet..

i tried to sudo pppoeconf... it completed succsfuly but after that no progress and mst imprtntly nm-applet vanished completely..

guys help me out

For my cable connection (not pppoe) the router/adapter must provide it's MAC address to the modem or the modem won't connect. This was an issue since the router didn't do so by default, so check that you are providing a MAC address with your adapter.

If that doesn't help, what network adapter/driver and modem/router/bridge are you using?
