Hey guys i need to know what will benifet me more as i can either get 512 MB of pc133 generic ram or i can get 256 of kingmax that i can run at 133 MHz@Cas2.

which is going to be better and make stuff load faster etc..

my system is :

T-bird 900 @ 1050Mhz
Abit kt7a
gf2mx

thx.

You can get most PC133 RAM to run at CAS2 by changing the settings in the BIOS. However, it depends on what kinds of programs you're running. If you're running graphics design, CAD, and video editing programs that will use a lot of memory, then get the 512MB of generic PC133. If you are running web browsing, word processing, and a few games, then get the PC133 CAS2.

But then again, memory is so cheap these days that you could probably afford 512MB of PC133 CAS2. Check out crucial.com for some good pricing on great memory.
