ppga alpha on fcpa???

Hi,
I currently need better cooling then my gorb on my coppermine, iwas wondering if I could use my alpha from my old ppga 300a, Is the little foam feet the only difference, somesuggested i use little pieces of a mousepad as feet, has anyone done this?
