Hey guys

I am going to be farting around with this combo of a celeron 466 in a slocket and an Asus P2B-F.
The settings for this chip are 7.0 clock multiplier, at 66mhz. Now if i bump that FSB upto
100mhz what can I expect in performance gains? I've never played with celerons before so i really dont know their capabilities or characteristics...Can anyone help me out?

Thanks.

If you went for 100MHz FSB I can guaratee you'd fail.. unless for some reason you are the luckiest one around!
that'd be 700MHz!
my friend can get his 466's to run at 560 and 583 respectively, but certainly no 100MHz BUS!
i have a C500 and it can only do 565 on a 75MHz BUS, however with more cooling i might be able to hit 83 (doubt it tho)
As well, i have an Asus P3B-F and an Asus S370-133 slotket and it all works great!
if you were to get an older Celeron say a 366 you might have better luck hitting 100MHz FSB
and 2 processors at the same clock speed are not always equal in speed, the one with the higher bus would be faster.
so, try and get an older Cel or a new C2 533A or 566A or something. :D

good luck dude!
