Well now im kinda looking at getting a ppc, But i dont know anything about them LOL

Any way i was just wondering what are some good ones, First off i want to be able to check email. Secondly are you able to click on links in emails? Another thing is is there any that support remote desktop? Or some kind on VNC?

Yeah, they support RDP but it's not what I'd reccomend, screen's resolution isn't high enough to really use it, I guess if SHTF then you have no choice.

How much are you looking to spend?

The Dell Axim series is pretty good...I'm looking at the new X51v myself. You should be able to check email with no problems on basically any PocketPC as far as I'm aware, as well as following links in emails. I believe there is software enabling remote desktop-like functionality too, but I don't have one yet so I don't have any first-hand experience yet.

My Dell x3 lasted exactly one year and one month before it just stopped turning on. My rx3115 was my best one yet, and I've owned 8 or 9, I think.

Axim FTW, I love my x30.. the games are very smooth and vibrant as well as the wide selection of apps.

Edit: The closest I've got as far as VNC'ing to it is using a program called Pocket Controller to bring up the PPC screen on the computer it's connected to via cradle, so technically I VNC to a computer it's connected to, but you can do anything you want to the PPC through Pocket Controller, kinda cool actually.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Axim x51v.
Although, I wouldn't buy anything without phone functionality personally.

How much is the axim x51v?

I forgot about phone, I would love to be able to use it with t-mobil service that my mom allredy has it would only cost like 20 bux to add another phone to it. Is the axim a phone to? And would it work with t-mobil?

How much are you seeing that for right now? It almost seems like Dell is going out of their way to make the X50v less visible on their website, and Small Business has the X51v for only $399 now...

No, the Axims are not PPC phones, just PPC's. And the X51v can be had for $399 right now (though I would still buy the X50v if I could find it cheaper).
