Powmax CP702-3 Issues

I purchased a Powmax CP702-3 gamers ATX case. The ATX motherboard (MSI K8N Neo4-F) has 9 holes for attaching to the case. The case came with 5 short brass standoffs, and 2 tall ones.
Question #1: Don't I need 9 short standoffs?
Question #2. Are the metal screws used to attach the motherboard to the brass standoffs?
Question #3: What are the 6 white plastic pins with screw threads on one end for? Do I need 9 of these?
