PowerToys for windows xp

I've just been looking around for some tweaks for xp pro to make it run better or nicer and i came across some progs like TweakUI or other 'powertoy' progs released by microsoft. Can you guys help me out and let me know if these programs are worth getting or if they will just add to the cluttering of the os.

I only use two- TweakUI and Picture Resizer.

These are fine and I would recommend them.

the alt+tab switcher is pretty cool too. I use opencommandwindow, desktop manager, image resizer, power calc, taskswitch and tweakui

In addition ...ClearType Tuner, Magnifier Powertoy (useful for senior citizens), Microsoft Calculator Plus (a handy measurement converter ...different from power calc) and Tweak MP (for Windows Media Player).

I use the desktop extension (4 desktops) but it has issues with Excel. The menues disappear.

I use power calculator, tweakui, alt-tab, and raw-image viewer. I can now use that instead of Irfanview because it'll display tiffs (Image and Fax Viewer didn't use to)and rotate my RAWs correctly (which Irfanview doesn't)

I could never find a reason to use the desktop manager....and besides, even if I did I could never figure out how to maniulate the number of desktops I wanted (I would only ever need 2).

I onlu use TweakUI. I have been using it for a long time.
