Do you have to have PowerStrip running for it to overclock your video card? Or does it set the clock/mem and leave it whether th programs running or not?

Yes, PowerStrip must be running. With Win9X/ME add the .exe file to your startup folder. That way it launches and operates transparently each time you boot up.

Powerstrip sets the clockspeed. When u deactivate it, it still stays
at the rate u left it in powerstrip. You can check this with the diagnostic tools of your graphics card. Although ps uses very little resources, it is always good to disable all programs in the background that u don´t need when playing games.
