Powerstrip checksum error

I've recently installed an 8500, and I have downloaded & installled powerstrip 3.02 to tinker with overclocking. When Powerstip finishes installing, it automatically runs, and everything works OK. But the next time I boot my computer, powerstrip won't run, I get a Powerstrip error that says "Checksum error, possible viral infection". To get powerstrip to run, I have to uninstall it, then re-install it, and again, it only works the first time. Subsequent attempts to run powerstrip result in the error.

I have AV software installed, and have run a scan, and no viruses come up. Any ideas?
