Powerpoint to Youtube

Trying to help someone convert a powerpoint 2010 file with multiple sound files embedded throughout the slides. He wants to convert the ppt file a be able to work on youtube.

Have tried a few conversion programs, but they either don't handle the sound properly or mess up the conversion process.

Has anyone done this and can anyone recommend a way to convert a .ppt file with audio to .wmv or something for youtube.

Can't he just do a "Save as" and select WMV file (at least in Office 2010)?

Once you select WMV from the save as and then name it, play the slide show and it will record it to a WMV file.

Tried that, it wont save the audio.
