How do I make templates in powerpoint? I can't seem to find this anywhere, I only see applying the preexisting ones.
 
To my knowledge templates can not be made in PowerPoint, but instead they can be loaded into powerpoint through the Browse option in Slide Design. You can however fully customize an existing slide design template.
 
Look for the Slide Master by clicking on View>Master>Slide Master and then you can lay out your slides in any way you want and it will apply to the entire presentation. Once you've done what you want, File>Save As and chose Design Template.
