PowerPoint Question: Moving Images from power point to CD

A friend of mine sent me an email a few minutes ago and Im not so sure I know what she meant:

"If I am making a slideshow of pictures on powerpoint, is there a way to transfer the pictures to an album for pictures"

I didn't understand her question. For one, but I had said I didnt understand and she said little more in her reply:

"slides made of pics on powerpt"

Yea. She is quite confusing. But if anyone could make sence of what she's trying to ask me, I'd appreciate it. And even if I knew what she was saying, I'm afraid I wouldn't know what to do. Any ideas guys? Thanks!!

 
The way I read it, she has a Powerpoint file that's just a slideshow of digital photos, and she wants to get the photos out of Powerpoint and store them somewhere else other than on her hard drive.
 
Kranky's probably right. How would I go about getting the images off the slideshow from powerpoint - to an empty file? So she could do whatever she wants with the photos.
