Powerpoint problem

The text on my powerpoint presentations is stretched. I haven't made any updates or changes to my computer. Every single file I open, shows the text incorrectly. When the files are opened on other computers, the text is correctly scaled. Web pages and other software show the text normally.

Can anyone help me with the solution? I can't figure it out.

Do you have the same fonts installed on your computer? It could be that font substitutions is taking place because you don't the font that was used in the powerpoint.

Unless I'm missing something - I don't think is a missing font.

Any other suggestions?

Try making another user account (to get a new profile)
and see if it is different

Solution: Change default printer. The printer driver attached to the system was not compatible with windows 7 and therefore caused the text to be stretched in Powerpoint presentations.
