PowerPoint - Missing Text in Slide Sorter View

A friend and I are working on a PowerPoint presentation for Moonday night. Me and another presenter collaborated separately and e-mailed her our part. For some reason she can only see the Title of the slides in the Slide Sorter view. She is unable to see the bulleted text or any other objects.

I've been all through my PowerPoint app to see if there is some sort of a setting that could have been accidentally set, but I am coming up empty.

Can anyone out there help or offer suggestions?

I'm trying to find out what version of Windows and PowerPoint she is using, but would be interested in hearing any suggestions till I get that info.

Thanks.

Just heard from my friend. The laptop is using XP Professional and is running the 2007 version of PowerPoint.

Has your friend updated XP to at least SP2? Office 2007 requires XP SP2. SP3 would probably be better for a lot of other reasons, as well.

How do you determine if you have SP2 or SP3? She doesn't know what SP is, so my guess is she doesn't know which Service Pack she has.
Thanks.

"SP" means Service Pack. To determine which she has:

1. Place the cursor over "My Computer."

2. Right click, and select "Properties."

At the top, under the "General" tab, you'll see:

System:

Microsoft Windows XP

Professional (or Home Premium)

Version [year]

Service Pack 1, 2 or 3
