PowerPoint 2003, MP3's / M4A's won't play when inserted into show

I'm posting this here becausei nkwo i will get repsonse in like 2 seconds, i have another thread in the software forum, but i need an answer now.

'I have PowerPoint 2003 and WinXP Pro. Whenever i attempt to insert an MP3 or M4A file into my slideshow, PowerPoint inserts it, but if i attempt to play the show or preivew the song, PowerPoint has a fatal error.

I just downloaded SP1 for Office, and I really need to get this working.'

save the show on a disc and try it on a different computer. Preferably whatever one you will be presenting on.

will try on my lappy, n' see if that will work, i'll also attempt using power point viewer, maybe that'll work?
