Powerpoint 2002 to 2000?

Hey all.
I have a question, I am currently making a PP 2002 presentation and when I present it, it will have to be on PP 2000. I did a test run and found that the text effects i had put in my pp 2002 presentation did not appear on the pp 2000 machine. Is their any way to save the effects so that it would work in 2000 or should i just program for effects that are available on the '00 machine...

Sorry if this is somewhat confusing, have done lots work and not much sleep. Thanks.

you should be able to save it as a 2000 document 🙂 well atleast you could in Word 🙂

What kind of text effect? If it's something only available for PP02 then it won't work with PP00. You should just make it with PP00. I work w/ Office stuff heavily & have experienced enough of incompatible file conversions among various versions of Office. It's very frustrating when you work on a 100 page report (input) and the format goes out of whack 'cause you end up using another version of Office for the output. Even when using Word, saving as a 2000.doc does not always save 100% (mirror image) of the original file created in 2002 when you have zillions of table formats/styles.
