Powernotebooks reliability, warranty experiences?

I'm about ready to purchase a Sager NP2090 SUPRA from powernotebooks.com. They have given me a pretty good deal on this notebook, it comes out to about $1,206 after instant rebate. It is configured as follows:

T7100 @ 1.8 GHZ
8600M GT 512MB
1280x800 screen (want to upgrade to 16x10, but a bit out of budget... I'll see)
1GB RAM in 1 DIMM
120GB 5,400 RPM HDD
Windows Vista Premium x64

As far as I can tell, this seems like an awesome deal. Is there something I'm missing?

Also, what have been your prior experiences with this company? Has support been easy and relatively quick? How was the build quality?

Any comments on the configuration is also appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Looks good but I would pay the 80 bucks more to go for the higher resolution. 1280x800 is pretty low for a 15in ws laptop nowadays. Sager has been around for a long time so I dont see you running into many problems.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Gus.

I am fairly certain that I will be upgrading to the higher resolution screen at this point. I agree that 12x8 is pretty low.

I was pretty confident in Sager (I believe that they are one of the large laptop OEMs?). However, I still have no idea as to how reliable Powernotebooks.com is. I've heard some good things, so I think I should be fine. However, I would look to confirm this before I spend the money on this laptop.

Well even though you will buy the laptop from powernotebooks doesnt mean they will service it as well. All warranty will be handled by sager directly. Same thing if you go into a brick and mortar store and buy a toshiba, hp, gateway without the in store extended warranty. Are you going for the extended 3 year warranty for the sager?

I might... it depends. Good to know service will be through Sager, then. Just found out the laptop I selected doesn't ship until end of June, so I have some time to look at other options before choosing. Any suggestions?

As far as specs goes I cant really think of any machines off the top of my head for the given price. Maybe asus has some laptops with those specs at about the same price range but couldnt really tell you.
