Nothing official yet, but here is a quote from the forums...

<< There're 2 major points that such adapter is needed:

1) VRM-8.5 specification for the FC-PGA2. (i.e. 1.425V/VCore can't be supported by the VRM-8.4).

2) VIO and GTL part.

We'll call it the " Neo+ ". Sorry, I can't give more details right now, please stay tuned.

<< Hi,
The Tulatin-512KB is an excellent CPU! Intel's changed their roadmap 3 days ago, they fear the Tualatin performance will embarass the P4, the latest info is Intel will push the Celeron to over 1GHz, put the Tualatin in the NB field.

Intel's put the Tualatin databook online a week ago, now you may get all the needed pin-out information. BTW, our Neo+ project is still alive and the sample shall be done in August. No idea about the production date.

Those old VIA and SIS chipsets based MBs definitely need the Neo+ for the Tualatin upgrade, BX boards might support it natively (Through a BIOS upgrade, but it depends on the MB GTL/GTL+ and AGTL Bus design). Stay tuned, please.

Cheers,

Paul at Powerleap
