is there any decent gaming video card that can be used in the dell 430sc servers?

i have read some ridiculous things like cutting the end of the x4 slot and putting a video card in it, but can anyone confirm if they're true, or if there are other usable cards for this computer?
 
supposedly you can cut off the end of the x4 slot, and run slower cards like say x300se.

x1 to x8 slots do not have the current to run a really good card, though maybe a high end card would work with the external power.

i had an asus nf4, that actually came with an x2 slot with the edge cut off just for this purpose (i.e. unmodded it was cut) so that you could run a low end card for multimonitr.
