Do powered by ati cards (like hercules) offer you the same image quality as original ATI cards?

Okay. Then why can't nvidia 3rd party manufacturers do that to?
I mean okay ati's 3rd party manufacturers are able to offer same image quality as orginal ATi cards but why nvidia's 3rd party manufacturers can't do that?

Anyway, switching to ATI pretty soon :D

Sapphire seems to be the best "Powered by ATI" card, due to the fact that they also manufacture true ATI cards for the company.

;) nVidia had HUGE variance in IQ for their GF2 & 3 cards which were all pretty dire regardless. The GF4TI cards were far more consistent and MUCH closer to the Radeons. The Radeons are much more consistent for IQ across the manus although many 8500 did have a degree of variance. The 9000 and up should all be VERY consistent and from 9500 and up they should be VERY consistent in ALL things inc clocks, abilities and o/c'ability. I've heard to avoid Powercolor but other than that I'd go primarily by price with bundle being the other factor.
