powered by ATI 2d quality

ok... i just bought a radeon 9000 made by Power Magic and i dunno.... 2d seems a lil fuzzier than ATI made radeons... is it suffering from similar cheap filter problem that plagued earlier TNT and GF cards? or is it just my imagination?

My powered-by-ATI Radeon VE has absolutely terrible 2D image quality, but all the built-by-ATI cards I've seen have 2D quality that seems second only to Matrox's.

A friend has the 7500 powered by card, and the 2D is horrible. ATI should have those other manufactures by the nads. I don't think this is so much a problem now, but was in the past from what I have read here recently.

I have a machine with a Sapphire 9000 non pro. 2D looks excellent to me.

From the the many reviews on the web the image quality on the Sapphire and Connect3D models is up to the usual standard of ATi.

I heard that actually those "Build By ATI" is build by Sapphire too.

They just come out from same factory line.

some powered by ati cards use sub standard parts so they are cheaper...

You get what you pay for.
