Powerdvd problem

I am having problems with Powerdvd. It crashes with the following error:

PowerDVD.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x7c91142e" referenced memory at "0x61707075". The memory could not be "read".

System:

WinXP Pro Serive Pack 2
AMD64 3500
Asus A8V-E Deluxe
Crucial 2 X 512 RAM
MSI 6600GT video
2 SATA drives
2 PATA drives on promise pci card

Have a similar problem with BeyondTV and MusicMNatch 10 but all other apps, games, scan software, winamp, MS office all work great.

Can anyone help?

Is DMA enabled for IDE controllers? Firmware upgrade for PATA controller?

Also any patches for the powerdvd software?

I'm using LeadTek 6600 GT with powerdvd also, no issues. But I'm using the stock mobo IDE drivers.
