I use powerdvd to playback movies and most video files but here is my problem i have Xvid files with Dolby digital soundtracks and powerdvd only plays them as a two channel instead of streaming it to my Reciever to let it decode the soundtrack.
What i have is a creative audigy2 gamer sound card, onkyo stereo reciever and i am using a SDIF cable from my computer to my reciever to listen to surround sound.
If i use nero showtime to playback the video files it streams the DD signal to my reciever, i am curious why i can't get powerdvd to do the same. Any help PLZ!!!
