Has anyone upgraded to PowerDVD 4 with DTS yet?
It was offered as a pre-order to registered owners a couple of weeks ago. I am curious how the software DTS decoding sounds.
I have a Hercules Game Theater XP which has no decoder. I run PowerDVD direct to my 5.1 speaker setup through the analog connections. The 5.1 sound out of PowerDVD 3 sounds pretty good. I'm hoping the DTS version is a big improvement.
PowerDVD owners should be able to upgrade after November 15 for around $40. Want to know if it's worth it.
I also read that they now support the ATI hardware DVD assist.
