Powercolor x1950gt question

Hi I bought this graphic cheap, and im pleased with performance, but the fan is a little to loud. problem is i cant tune it from atitray, and if u use some other cooler like zalman vf900 i lose my warranty. any suggestion how to run it a on a little lower rpm/voltage?

try ati tool. Does it idle loud or just crank up after you start gaming? Do you have 2d/3d clocks enabled? I dropped my idle temps on my 1950xt about 12c by enabling that, and now it takes a little while for the fan to ramp up and get annoying.
