Look like some good mid-range cards, but I can't find a release date anywhere! The Powercolor Xtreme 3850 comes clocked at 720mhz, 512mb GDDR3 @ 900mhz, has a nice aftermarket cooler and built-in HDMI port ~ all for $199 msrp

But no date.

Also, did not see any reviews comparing the 256mb version to the 512mb ones that will be offered.

Once that puppy is overclocked it starts kicking arse, i had the chance to buy an 8800GT today but i didnt and i have to find out why, im feel very drawn towards the 3800 series for some reason. ( regardless of my slaggin it off when it first came out ) i think with some decent drivers this thing is gonna show up the 8800 series.

Not that 3850 sucks. I personally don't need 100fps. Not to mention I'm on a 19" wide monitor. This would go perfectly with it.

512meg vram and a upgraded cooler and OC version sounds like a winner to me. It would work for most of the people who are gaming 22" and less easily.
