I personally never heard of this company, then again, I never been into the ATI scene much. They however make 64MB ATI Radeon 9000s clocked at 250/366, which should put it above the 8500LEs (250/230). Should I trust them and purchase this? Or stick with a 64MB 8500LE.
At newegg, the PowerColor has 11, 5 star, votes but not one review. Looks odd...

the 8500le will still blow the 9000 outta the water. go with 8500le for best performance IMHO.

250/230 equals 250 core and 460MHz DDR memory speed. The 250/366 equals 250MHz core and 366MHz DDR or 183MHz as compared to the 230.

yes, take look at their Radeon 9000 Pro. Memory speed is 550MHZ, which mean it's double of 275MHZ

so 366, means 183 MHZ external speed.

This defintely will be slower than 8500LE.

questions.

Radeon 9000(RV250 based) video card has one addition feature that 8500(RV200 chip based)
doen't have, which is FULLSTREAM(for play realone format video). Is this really usefull ?

Does Radeon 9000 based video card have better 2D image quality than Radeon 8500 ?

Frome what I understand, the 9000 is nuetered 8500. Because of this ATi has renumbered the 8500 to 9100 (and I think its the LE clock speeds) to help clear up the performace comparison.

From AnandTech's 9000Pro review
they removed one texture unit from each pixel pipeline.
The 9000Pro (albeit the 64MB version) falls behind the 128MB 8500 and 8500LE in almost everything ans sometimes way, way behind. Just imagine how the 9000 will fair.
