Firstly, Powercolor (or was it Sapphire?) made a 128bit (not MB) instead of a 256 bit card. Obviously the 128 bit is way slower. Those were sold at a big discount fro obvious reasons. Stay away from those.
Secondly, I got my BBA (built by ATI) 9800 pro for $200 (with 3 yr warranty). I don't think a Powercolor is gonna sell for $100 (@50%). So maybe the BBA you're looking at is overpriced?
Third, Powercolor does not have a very good reputation. I steer away from them based on other's experience/comments
If the cards are 256 bit, 9800 pro with 128MB of vid memory, they should have at least the true 9800pro core (if not the XT core), they could differ in memory (ex. Samsung versus Hynix) which has some importance for OC'ing. Some of the more expensive versions can come with better cooling (hesatsink & fan). Maybe even a game thrown in. Mostly these differences are important for OCing (other than a free game).

your first point = wrong. sapphire made the 128 bits.
I mention sapphire in my post, you rude boob
your second point = the powercolor for 50% less is one hell of a deal, even though the warranty is only 1 year. i would spring on it.
You don't even know how much the price is. You don't know if it's a good deal or not
your third point = flat out wrong. not much more to say to this.
Quote from Graphic Card buyers Guide at Tom's Hardware Guide
"Powercolor a hit and miss brand, slightly better than Gigapuke IMO. Powercolor is notorious for underclocking their graphics cards and selling them as 'PRO's, the original PC 'R9700Pro' was really an R9700non-pro, it later had a name change to the R9700GOLD . Their cards can even arrive at reviewer's bench underclocked that way.
I didn't say it was a bad card, just that I "heard" it doesn't have a very good rep. See above quote from respected site.
Mine was clocked at the right speeds.the original PC 'R9700Pro' was really an R9700non-pro,
