I recently added another set of 2GB sticks in my main system, totaling 8GB (4x2GB). Now, these sticks didn't take much voltage so I didn't pay much attention to its thermals in the past. With 4 sticks sitting one another, I figured they'd get slightly hotter and put my finger on the one of the stick's heat spreader. And it was HOT. I didn't measure the exact temperature but it felt almost as hot as Micron D9!
Sticks are currently running @DDR2-1000/5-5-5-13 with 1.95V set in the BIOS. I was running Prime LargeFFT when I touched the sticks.
