Powerbook Memory w/ Patriot

Has anyone succesfully used PDP memory in a Powerbook along with their memory that came w/ the Powerbook? I would like to add a 1G stick and am concerened that their could be problems running BPA style memory alongside the TSOP style Samsung chips. I know that the SPD timings should be the same, but I guess Im just concerned about mixing RAM types.

Anyone?

 
I used some BGA based sodimms + some samsung TSOP style memory in my notebook for a month or 2 before I replaced the internal dimm w/ another BGA type, but I didn't have any issues mixing and matching memory as long as the spd timings are the same.
