PowerBook G4 airport not cooperating with Linksys

Using a Linksys WRT54G wireless router... XP machines in the house connect fine, but the OS X PowerBook doesn't work. It will connect to the network, but Safari won't load pages, IM clients don't work, etc., etc.

Anyone know of a quirk with airport cards and that linksys router?
