PowerBar founder, Brian Maxwell, dies of a Heart Attack at age 51

Maxwell collapsed Friday at a post office, and emergency personnel were unable to resuscitate him after workers called 911. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

atkins-like? how so?

This guy died of a heart attack at 51. Atkins died from falling on ice and hitting his head, and he was in his 70's.

In April 2002, Atkins was hospitalized after he went into cardiac arrest, which he said in a statement was "in no way related to diet."

I never said anything about his death having anything to do with his diet.

Hardly a time to joke around. How would you like it when you die if someone cracks jokes.

This guys death seriously makes no sense. He ran marathons which should have strengthened his heart muscle. Why on earth would he die of a heart attack. I assume he ate well and exercised well..
