wow what a bunch of morons who actually believe they'll get any money from the internet. Even if he did win, which he didnt, why would he give it to strangers ? i guess if you spend so much time here you actually think this is like a family...please get a life

Hmm.. a few years ago I was part of a private newsgroup that had been a small community for ~4 years straight. If I had won the lottery in that time, I would have certainly taken 15-20 of my friends there and flew them in to my new mansion for one hellacious party, and ended up giving them each a brand new, top of the line PC as a parting gift.

Your sense of community and friendship are to be pitied, not ours.

I wonder if it?s possible for a LOTTO winner to remain anonymous to the general public. Not that I will be ever lucky enough to have to make such a decision mind you.

You have up to 6 months to turn in the winning ticket. I wouldn't say "nowhere to be found". They probably just haven't turned it in yet.

Most of the smarter people who win actually get a legal team setup before claiming the ticket. A story I read says a winner had over 100 people making claims of theft, fraud, and loans the winner had in his past and they wanted a chunk or they would sue. He was tied up in court for over a year befire he had his money free and clear.
