It depends on your motherboard of course, but my pentium 166, had jumpers on it, like most motherboards, one for FSB and then the multiplier. Example: 66FSB x 2 multiplier= 132mhz, now some motherboards can go up to 75FSB and either a 3 to 4 times multiplier, now your running a Pentium 166, let's just say you want it a Pentium 180, so you can set the FSB to 60 and the multiplier to 3, 60x3=180mhz. Always go in small incriments. As to fans, the more you have in there the better. I have 3 in mine, the one on the power supply, one on the CPU chip with a heat sink, and one in the front of the computer. You also might want to type in any search engine, Overclocking and there will be a tons of sites.
