power usage of voodoo3

I know the Geforce2 MX is around 4 watts, which i think is pretty low. How does the voodoo3 2k/3k compare to that power consumption? shanks
 
Actually I would be interested in hearing about the entire gamut of currently popular cards - Geforce, Geforce GTS, and Voodoo 5, etc. and how they compare.
 
Me too... Really interested in knowing that. I know a cell phone consume about 100mW, and a P800 is about 50W...
 
GTS uses double the power which is 8W. The V5 5500 uses 48W last I checked. The original GeForce used 16+ watts or is that 24? I can't seem to remember the exact number but thwere as no way it would go into a PCI slot without an external connector.
 
i believe original GeFOrce was 18watts. Aw hell I don't know. I'm drunk and chip is hot. ouch! power bad, food good. mmmmmmhhhhhhhh food.
