Power switch broken

Hi,

I snapped the power switch off on my PC while doing some mods on it, but I am not sure if the replacement I amusing is the correct one. The one I have seems to latch on and I am not sure if that is correct. The motherboard is a DFi lanparty should it be that the switch sends a start pulse when you press is and then if you keep it in it switches off?

Hi, The switch has to be a momentary contact type. If you found one that mounted in your case OK and is a latching switch, there is a small chance that you can easily modify the switch to make it momentary. Look closely at the plunger as you work it. You may see a small "Wire" thingy snapping back and forth. If so dig the "Wire" out. You should now have the switch you wanted. Luck, Jim
