Hey guys,

I have a system that I put together about a year ago based on the socket 775 Shuttle SD30g2b bare bones system. On Tuesday night we had some pretty severe storms roll through town, and when I got home, the system would no longer power on.

However, I do get a LAN activity light when I plug that cable in, and the system still powers my external USB peripherals. I do not get any lights on the front to come on when I press the power button, and it appears that none of the internal drives spin up.

I tried using a different ATX power supply, and removing the battery to clear the CMOS. Neither showed any promising results. I'm sure that the motherboard and perhaps some other components are fried, but I figured I would check in here for some input.

Also, on a related note - does anyone know where to get Shuttle replacement parts at a reasonable price?

Thanks,
Brian

* You are probably correct in your assumption.
* Check ebay for Shuttle MBs or contact Shuttle.
* Protect your next build with a Delta Lightning Arrestor and Surge Capacitor or at least a good quality surge suppressor like the TrippLite ISOBAR6DBS (metal housing).
