Power supply

okay here is the list of the devices I have on my comp that are capable of consuming power. Is a 300 W sufficient for that?

1) Impression 771AS mobo with VIA kx 133 chipset (686 A south bridge), AGP 4x
2)Athlon slot A 600 Mhz
3)Maxtor 7200 20.4 GB
4)Seagate 5400 13 GB
5)Dr-tech 12X DVD
6)I/O magic 56X CD ROM
7)SAF 12x4x32 SCSI CDRW
8)ATI Rage Fury Pro 32 Mb with VIVO
9)Sound blaster Live!
10)PCI modem
11) USB web cam (logitech web cam express, consumes 500 ma current)
12)Mustek 1200 UB USB scanner (no external power source drws from the coputer internal power supply, 496 ma current)
13) 128 mb Kingston Pc 100 RAM (don't think it consumes lot of power though)
14) Epson stylus color 500 printer (guess this also doesn't consume power)

Looks like 300w is barely sufficient for all that you have. Any senior meber has any comment on this?

you could also do it ghetto style like I used to do, instead of buying a triple redundant PS & case. just get an old AT 250W and run your CD-ROMS off of it...
Only two of them at a time would be going..

and everything else should be fine...
