I'm not buying it... That Power Supply should have been sufficient for your system. You may have had something else go wrong.

Got a 600W myself. Quiet, solid stability, great voltage regulation.

If you want something cheaper, OCZ or Antec will work. Antec has quieter PSUs though (TP2.0)
