Hey,
u guys seem to know what you are talking about. I need a power supply for an athlon xp system. it will have

a7n8xe
3 hd
3200+
7600gt AGP
1.5GB. (3x512mb)
medium o/c'ing (air)

has 350w antec now but its been abused also running only a 5900 at the moment

**should i stay away from dual rail, or does it not matter?**

recommended wattage?

thx

The Antec PS in my Sonata II case just died after 10 months, seems like this is happening to a LOT of people. I bought a $30AR Thermaltake 430 PS to replace it from NewEgg (ordered, cc cleared and it shipped all in 4 hours!) and will RMA the Antec PS for a backup.

I need another suggestion, a few minutes after i order the psu and the mobo, i look at fs/ft and i see a enermax liberty 620 watt used for 115 shipped. Which seems pretty good dea consider that the 500 watt i just order but didn;t ship yet cost 110 before rebate. Sicne newegg didn;t ship my order yet, should I cancel the order and get the 620 watt from fs/ft instead?

This is pretty interesting. I just posted in the Tech Support section of the forums.
It would appear my Antec P/S died prematurely. Lasted less than a year.

I went ahead and orded a quality thermaltake from Newegg.
Yup, I think Antec stinks. I've only had quality PSU's before and thats the way its gonna be from now on.

Seem rock solid and only 9 buck more.

you know people are going to tell you get this and get that...
or they will say don`t get that its a rebadged PSU...
well you know what? Nothing wrong with being rebadged as long as you know who is doing the rebadging!!
You want that PSU? get it...it should give you good service no matter what they nay sayers will tell you!!

Go for it!!

Also jonny reviewed the 700watt!!
