PC Power & Cooling is the model of my brand new 910w PSU

Alright, here are my specifications:

Gigabyte 870A-UD3 Motherboard
16GB's Kingston RAM
nVidia GTX 260
Phenom X6 1100T
160GB HDD
1TB secondary for media

PC Power And Cooling 910W PSU

I have this power supply I just purchased: http://www.directcanada.com/products...%20&%20COOLING

It does not work with my build, and since my motherboard doesnt have a green led light showing if it's getting power, i have my speakers turned on and with them plugged into the board, i hear a light "thud" every 3 seconds. I had a ASUS M4N75TD which had a green light on the board which would flash every three seconds aswell, maybe a similar sign there?. Well the asus board didn't work no matter what, so i sent it back.

I also have a Antec TP 750W Blue, which doesn't work this my Gigabyte 87A-UD3 motherboard, and it does the same thing with my speakers plugged in. I know I have my connections right, I am currently writing this thread post with this build, running off of a POS Ultra LSP 650W (ULT-LSP650P), which has no problems running this computer, but I want more power, but I can't run the PC Power & Cooling 910w so I'm stuck with the Ultra...

Does anyone know what could possibly be the problem?. I tried to explain everything in deep detail, let me know what you guy's think and thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Why do you want more power? You could easily run on a quality 450W+.

As far as the PSU problem, is the PSU fan spinning? You can also try the following to see if the PSU is working: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=63991

Well I wasn't sure, but if you say it's good enough to have a 650w, then ill stick with that for now, meanwhile i have a 910w psu sitting in my closet. I want to figure out why it's not working, or if it's actually an incompatibility problem, which i doubt it... everything is standard atx. It just pisses me off. It's too late to bring it back, i ran outta time to test it.
