Power Supply..... who is good?

I have a 300watt power supply running my 1.4tbird system with 2 hard drives, 2 cd drives, and like 8 fans. I want to upgrade it to like a 350 or 400 watt psu. What is a good economical choice in power supplies? I like the Antec ones a lot, but wow they are expensive.

I also want a power supply to trust that I can leave it on all day while I am away and not worry about it blowing up or catching fire.


Any suggestions?

Try this one in the cases and cooling forum. I think you'll find lots of topics on the subject.
Lots of people like Antec and Enermax.
 
out of all the enthusiast psu's, the antecs are actually among the cheapest... dont expect to get a high quality psu for just a couple of bucks more than the generics
