hey guys, i just wanted to know how stable my psu is. i dont know how big of a margin of error to allow for the voltages. these are my voltages and tell me what you think. this is when the computer is idle and nothing is running.

+12 V 12.188
+5 V 5.182
+3.3 V 3.369
CPU Core 1.271
CPU I/O (+1.5 V) 1.484

it fluctuates about .04 V's

btw, i have a enermax 460

and what is the difference between version 1.3 and 2.0 power supplys? should i consider buying a version 2.0?

If you begin to get power issues, your PSU is unstable.

Other than that, unless you have the right tools for the job (multimeter etc) you can never be sure how stable your PSU is. The BIOS report is NOT always accurate, and you shouldn't base anything on it. Either use the right tools or look for problems that are evident through use, otherwise, your PSU is likely stable.

Yeah... if you hear a pop and see smoke rising out the back of your rig, you've probably exceeded the limit :p

You can pick up a cheap-arse watt meter for around $30 that would show you the power draw.
