Power supply surges detected during the previous power on

I just installed a new graphic card ( MSI GTX 760 GAMING ) and after some days of use im beginning to get a warning on the 5v by the AI SUITE. Then on a random startup I got this error " Power supply surges detected during the previous power on. Asus SurgeProgram was turned on to protect frofm bad psu !"

My Psu is A CM GX550. It is a great psu of the CM series with a single rail bronze 80+ rating providing upto 44A :/
Motherboard is A Asus p8h61 M-LE.

BTW the gtx760 requires a 6-pin and an 8pin power connector. Unfortunately the 8-pin connector provided by the manufacturer (MSI) had 1 ground pin and i was getting BSOD until 2 days when I opened my rig to find the problem myself. My psu has 6+2 pin so i'm using that no more BSOD but this now.

In the bios the +5v is highlighted in RED giving a figure around 5.74v.

What am I suppposed to do ? Some people are saying its a sensor glitch....

Look at the numbers in the BIOS and see if they are close to the numbers being read by the AI suite.

yea similar numbers 5.57v-5.78v both show red on bios and ai suite.

But many people have the same issue and it turns out its probably a software glitch ? They have been told to disable the anti-surge from the bios if they have a reliable psu....
