Power Supply Suggestions?

Ok I have a 350W Enermax power supply which I am quite happy with. However, apparently there is too much 3.3v draw. And my video card crashes every time I run 3D programs. I have removed 2 ram sticks, which has resolved my issue for now. However I really do need a larger power supply. I am running all kinds of stuff of this, 3 noen lights, 3 hard drives, 2 cd roms, usb hub, around 12 fans, audio equalizer, also every PCI slot is populated, and power guzzling AthlonXP 1800, and GeForce 3.

Anyway I'm thinking of getting a 450W+ Power supply. I would like to get another Enermax because I am quite happy with the quality, just that they dont have a 450W model and the 550W model cost over 150. So I am open to other brands, but I don't want anything too cheapo.

The Enermax 465P-VE is 431w (~80.00), and it should suit you just fine.

about that sparkle, how loud is it?

Enermax now has active pfc powersuplies.

There is a 433 watt at newegg for 109, sounds like a good deal. Anyone had any experience?

Topower makes a 430w PSU that is superior to Enermax's 430w PSU offering. Antec makes a 510w PSU now, and Antec's PSUs are the best in the industry (arguable--Sparkle and Topower are also up there).

Yes I am quite certain that its is a power supply issue. I have used motherboard monitor to track all my voltage values, and every time my 3.3 voltage drops below 3v when it hits a 3D game. The reason being is that I am drawing too much power particullarly 3.3v. I may noy be pulling the full 350W, but it is too close to it that the 3.3v value drops when power usage on the 3.3v drops. You have namely your RAM, and AGP card running on 3.3v. And when you got a GeForce 3, and 3 256MB sticks of ram, well that pulls quite quite a bit of juice. Also look at my list neon lights, hard drives, fans, relay swichtes for watercooling, rheostat...
