Building a new server with the following specs:
2 - Intel Pentium 3-933 FCPGA
SuperMicro 370DL3
2 - 256MB Reg. ECC PC133
PCI Video Card
3.5" Floppy
4 - Aopen 50X CD-ROMs
Adaptec 3200S RAID Card
2 - Quantum Atlas 10k II 9.2GB 68-pin
4 - Quantum Atlas 10k II 36GB SCA
2 - Intel Server NICs
HD Cooler - 2 fan
5-Drive HotSwap Bay
OnStream ADR50 50GB U2SCSI
Enlight 8950 Server Case - 3x9cm fans
This case only comes with a 300 watt, or maybe a 300 watt redundant if I pay the extra $250! My thoughts are that with that large of a load the power supply may be stressed and that would lead it to fail prematurely. Is there a way to know how large of a power supply I should buy, or does anybody have any recommendations? Thank.
