Power Supply Recommendations

Hi all - I am working on building a new system and need some help. I am in the process of choosing the PSU for my system, and need to know what to get.

I am building a Athlon 1600+ with a EPoX 8KHA+ mobo. Will a 300w PSU work, or do I need a 350w or even 400w PSU?

I am planning on doing a little OCing, but not much, as I'm new to the whole OC world.

If you have a basic setup and a 300w ps then I would try it. If you are buying one then I would go with atleast 340 just to be safe.

I am running a 1600+ with a 340w highpower ps, it is 38+5 bucks shipping. You can find the link under hot deals. As far as your questions about will a 300 work. Here is my story, I bought a 300w enlight ps and it would not boot(ps worked in old system), then I tried a 250 enlight ps and it worked without any problems. I wasn't comfortable running with a 250w so upgraded just to be safe.
