ok as you can see in my my signature im using a x-connect 500w power supply.
I've heard these arent the best PSU's and i think im due for an upgrade.

U can see the specs of my computer plus i have a pretty decent OC going.

the eXtreme Power Supply Calculator says my system needs 445W

im thinking maybe this:
http://www.buy.com/prod/corsai...loc/101/205852646.html

or should i just spend a little extra and get this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817341002

or am i ok with my old PSU, i have a computer that just needs a power supply and i can probably just sell it to someone so its part of my decision to get a new one.

The VX550 is one of the best PSUs out there. The VX450 would also support your system quite well if you wanted to save some money.

Those would be a couple that I'd recommend too. The Corsair VX450w PSU has 33A on the 12V rails and the 550w has 41A on the 12V rails, so either will do quite well for the $.

$70 - $10 MIR = $60 and if you use Google checkout for $10 more off you get it for $50!!

$85 - $20 MIR - $10 Google checkout = $55!!!

If you want to spend more and have more room for upgrades later, than the Antec 550w NeoHE/Corsair hx520w/Corsair tx650w/PCP&C 610 Silencer would be all good choices, IMHO. They are all around the $100-$125 range and offer lots of options. You can decide what you want to spend, but any of the above PSU's would be good.
