personally speaking with money being no object I would get this PSU from these people and have them make it modular for you...

For a nominal Fee of $50.00 the performance PC people will make your PSU Modular!!
In fact they are the ONLY authorized dealer allowed to do this!!
They will also adjust the length of your cables to fit exactly your computer.

Just scroll down to see.....

I second the work of Performance PCs. I wish I would have done the modular cables when I sent in my PSUs to get sleeved, but oh well. I'm doing alright without it. :) Might do it for the wife's gaming machine though.

I would want to see what their modular job looks like. I prejudiced against modular as that creates one more weak point in the power delivery chain. Many don't even have 100% latched connectors at the PSU, so they could easily fall out from thermal cycling or be accidentally pulled out. I recommend to just use a normally wired PSU and tie back any extra with zip ties.

I agree totally Zepper!! But what I understand happenned was the Perfermance people did a few modular jobs at there cost and then went directly to the PC Power & Cooling peeps!

Who did some tests and such and then gave the good people at Performance exclusive rights to convert the PC power & Cooling products to modular while still maintaining the PC power & Cooling warranty!!

But if ya know the people at PC Power & Cooling they have high standards and wouldn`t give anybody exclusive anything unless the workmanship ws top notch!!
